Our servers are powered by the latest Intel Dual Xeon Nehalem series CPUs with Intel Intelligent Power Technology for automated energy efficiency. This technology places both the processor and RAM into the lowest possible power state, and scales energy usage based on the server's work load. This helps reduce server idle power usage by as much as 50% compared to previous generation servers. In addition, these CPUs offer over 2x the performance of previous generation technologies when using the same amount of power.
This combined with ultra energy efficient DDR3 RAM and 7200 RPM SATA drives allows for significant savings in power consumption over traditional servers.
