DataGuard Protection.
All of our hosting packages include DataGaurd, our exlusive data protection procedure that essentially ensures our ability to recover your data in case of damage or loss. DataGuard utilizes a powerful combination daily and nightly offsite backups to multiple seperate locations, as well as the redundency of RAID-10 disk arrays to provide maximum protection for your data.
Daily Off-Site Backups.
Backups are performed every day and stored at two seperate locations, so should the need ever arise, we can reliably recover your files for you.
Nightly Off-Site Backups
In addition to daily off-site backups, we perform nightly offsite backups that are kept at yet a different location. This provides additional protection by giving us two different places from which to recover your data. Should we not be able to recover your data from our daily back ups, we can recover them from our secondary nightly back ups.
RAID-10 Protected Hard Drives
Redundant Array of Inexpensive Drives (RAID) is designed to replicate data among multiple hard drives, so that data can be recovered in case of drive failure. RAID-10 offers the best combination of performance and redundancy, with both stripping and mirroring capabilities, and easily outperforms the more common RAID-1 configuration. Essentially RAID-10 will allow us to reliably recover your data even if up to 3 hard drives fail, providing added assurance that your data is safe.

It monitors traffic patterns for strange or malicious activity, and removes undesirable traffic. In addition it monitors all ports, closing those not in use. The APF is coupled with Brute Force Detector to detect and block force login attackers, effectively protecting the integrity of the server, as well as your files and data, from unwanted intruders.

Viruses and trojans are often hidden in spam email, unknown to users who are subjected to them. We use ClamAV, which is capable of detecting over 60,000 kinds of viruses and trojans, to scan all email and ensure no malicious software will compromise the integrity of the server, providing you added peace of mind.

Our network is DDoS protected. In addition to hardware solutions like Cisco Guard (which delivers multigigabit performance), we utilize Apache modules mod_evasive and mod_security to protect against denial of service attacks, and to employ evasive action against such attacks when they are detected. Our use of the LiteSpeed web server also contributes to DDoS protection, and comes included with all hosting packages.
